Dan Knapp World Turtle ProductionsDaniel C. Knapp works with a diverse group of clients on a wide range of subjects. Using lessons from 20 years of fieldwork, he guides companies through the complex process of video production with excellent results. Knapp specializes in on-location documentary style video with a focus on great story development and an eye for detail. All video is produced with artistic vision and the highest technical quality showing equally well whether on a sixty inch plasma screen for a trade show, or a two inch YouTube playback window.

History of World Turtle

Daniel C. Knapp has been producing award-winning, short-format educational media since 1995. He has worked extensively in the Aleutian and Pribilof Islands in Alaska, and the Boston Harbor Islands National Park. He has been on-location with National Geographic to West Australia documenting Tiger Sharks, and on other international projects in Papua-New Guinea, Japan, Belize and Bolivia.

In 2007 Knapp received a National Park Interpretation Award for his work as producer of “Living In Two Worlds: Native American Stories of the Boston Harbor Islands”. In 2008 he served as a media consultant on a research project as part of the ‘International Polar Year’ funded by the National Science Foundation. In 2009 he served as Associate Producer on an award winning Historical Documentary ‘People of the Seal’.

Knapp also produces marketing and training videos for industries ranging from assisted living, to fiber optics, to flute making.
